The Audax price is one of the reasons for my hesitation. I rather not shell out that kind of cash for something I have not heard. I also have problems with large woofers and bass, some people don't mind the sound and enjoy it but I prefer the sound of a smaller woofer, or muliples thereof. To my ears the smaller woofer is quicker but thats just me. I am not a bass junkie but if its in the music then it should be heard. I already have the 208's. I am just trying to get a little more info on open baffle design before I start to put saw to wood. I have a preliminary idea as to the 208 open baffle and may cut it this weekend if I do not get any more info.Have fun
