I can't say anything about SACDs as I haven't heard them...but I can tell you what they are like.They started as a purely electronic band with vocals, think a poppier version of Kraftwerk. Later they actually added a few guitars, but still remain a synth band. Lyrically, there is a lot of angst and darkness, the kind of things kids who wear black like a lot. Their songs are quite catchy and melodic. I'd lump them in with the Cure and New Order as an 80s band...but their last album from last year was surprising strong. I've always liked them. I'm sure there are many places to hear samples.
