I need to get a new pair of closed-back phones. I've been subscribed to Massdrop for a while and like their marketing and product offerings. They seem to market "high-end" audio to non-audiophiles.
They partner with Sennheiser (who I've always owner and am replacing, as I pass my old Momentums to my wife), Beyer Dynamic, HifiMan and other name brands. So they are not off brand.
I was thinking I could get a pair of these Meze's and a Topping DX-3 Pro DAC/Amp (with a AK4493 DAC chip) for around $330.00.
Is there a better deal out there for the money?
