... some things in headphone audio are still being meticulously handcrafted by one person, nowadays. Maybe all of the best stuff in audio is created like that but Donald North is surely one of the standouts.
I own an early version of North's original offering, the "Sonett". Very nice amp, no complaints. But I hope to try out (and possibly upgrade to) the "Stratus" some day.
The "Stellaris" is probably out of my financial reach for the foreseeable future...
