This is my first visit to this branch of AA so please excuse the na�ve question.
I've never used or even wanted to use headphones primarily because my equipment is across the room from where I normally sit and I certainly don't want a cable between the two. However there are times when I think how great it would be to be able to turn up the volume to daft levels without my neighbours banging on my door, or just listening when well away from my normally listening position - where I thoroughly enjoy my Avantgarde horn speakers.
Wireless headphone would provide an answer so I'm asking for suggestions and comments on their quality of sound. My amplifier (NAD M32) has a "discrete headphone amplifier, which is able to drive even planar and high impedance studio cans. With high voltage and low output impedance, your headphones will sound their best." I presume a transmitter device would be needed to send the signal to the phones. Please educate me! Thanks. Peter
