I highly recommend looking into the Marsh headphone amp from an article in Linear Audio magazine. It has zero capacitors in the signal path, no servo only a trim pot, as the DC offset is by design and part selection, inherently thermally stable, and zero NFB in the audio band. THD without matched devices is less than -100dB. I'm a long time tube guy, but this elegant design is solid state done right.
About $70-80 to breadboard DIY from the TechDIY kit with a DC-DC switcher and wall wart. Even with the puny PS, it sounds excellent.
Compared it to several commercial solid state and tube headphone amps and tube DIY (a DIY cloned Poindexter PP triode wired 6V6 with Electraprint partial silver OPTs. The Marsh amp was easily my favorite with my LCD-3Fs.
