You can get a very good solid state Headphone amplifier for this price or a
(possibly)'fair' DAC, which they bundled a HP amp to. I think of these"components" as"Integrated Headphone Amps." (They are sold as Headphone Amps,so your argument is with the manufacturers* for the inaccurate labeling)
I tend to prefer to items produced by Companies whose businesses are geared
toward specific types of Components (& that's why I'm "broke"; happy with my
Audio System, but definitely "broke")
(*I don't know what Marantz is calling this)
