Ok, that is pretty encouraging.
Several years ago I tried the original Lyr, with my HE-6s, I did'nt care for the results even after trying "tube rolling" a few different sets of NOS tubes In. . The HE-6s did'nt appear to be the "weak link" of the pairing & I'm really not having much trouble getting sufficient detail w/ other amps. The HE-6s however remain to feel like a few "bricks" hanging on either side of my head.. If it was'nt for the fact I think the 6s sound better to me than my Senn HD800s
I probably would have given up on them
So my question is how close do the HE-560s sound to the HE-6s ? (Somedays the 6s
sound exceptional, other days just good on the same material. I think I let the "comfort factor"
Influence my enjoyment somedays)
