The RS1i is one of my most satisfying audio purchases ever. Some people say that Grados look and feel old fashioned, but I think that there is some instinctively ingenious tech going on here. The wooden construction of the RS1is make them feel very light. Grado's method of backloading the drivers with airspace while keeping the drivers as close as possible to the ears helps to create wonderful bass and good tone without sacrificing dynamics.
