I own a pair of HE-560s and had a copper Litz cable built for me from YFS (Your Final System).
I sent the cable backs one channel was breaking up.This did not occur with the "stock" cable.
I was told that there was a cold solder joint.Fixed and returned.
A few months afterwards, the phones started cutting out in both channels.Not an issue with the original cable.
Contacted YFS again and inquired about the possibility of using a different 2.5mm pin.YFS would like to cannabalise the original cable, to use the pins (that I know work with my phones).
Can anyone shed some light on the "pin issue" or make suggestions on how I might cure this problem. ??
The "original" pins make a tight ,firm connection.The YFS tend to have play and can actually swivel when connected to the phones.
Any comments would be appreciated, before I proceed.
