THat is high praise man. Havent tried the FiiO. Doubtful I will buy another iem. have 6 IIRC. probably more. The Shures are a draw because of their pro history. Normally pro stuff is too neutral, but my headphone rig is processed and a neutral headphone is a better match than the audiophile offerings. I can tune the Shures if I want...I have the neutral filter and it seems like a pain to change so I wont mess with the 2 other filters. Also I have the custom eartips that I had made for the KSE1200 which work on the KSE846. And the warranty is strong with them.
So I am done with this and just listening now. OMG the shures just disappear. Its amazing. Check them out.
