I've had these for awhile, but they've had limited use. At home, I tend to use a DAC/headphone amp. On travel, I found the pads too loose, falling off in luggage and having to be reattached. While comfortable, the phones were not entirely practical for travel.
No more: I purchased a set of pads I've used in the past for my Koss Portapro headphones. These are a tight fit for the Grado's but they work. I was able to enjoy Grado-quality sound (both via Bluetooth and via a Fiio headphone DAC) while travelling by train. Connectivity was excellent and sound quality via Bluetooth was pretty good. Sound quality via the Fiio was excellent, certainly improving the enjoyment of a train ride.
