I have not been on here for a year and the first time I come on here the top thread is about my Stax thread from long ago !!!!!

but yes - Stax electrostatics are the best - hands down

and that is even with the stock solid state amps they make - with the custom dedicated tube amps the comparison with regular cans becomes ridiculous

thats from going to and owning them and going to several headphone shows in California were I listened to every ultra expensive can and amp combo you could think of including the top orthos

how big did my thread grow to after I lost track of it ?
