When my Cute amp went down due to static I had to find a new one. I had modded the Cute with new IC's and caps on the power pins. It sounded really good. After it went down I started looking for something new. I found one that I thought would work, the Liquid Spark. It was OK but only just(in my system). I had the idea that a bigger power supply would help. The Spark came with a 1.25amp supply. I changed this to one with 2 amps of current(same voltage). It worked!Bass was better with more space around everything. After 24hrs, the amp sounds even better and is very smooth. My wife said,"full" when she listened. My point is that with a plug in replacement, the amp made a big jump towards getting better. I hope some of you out there will try this easy change. Please, let me know how this works for you.
