DVD-A assumes you'll have your TV on when you plan to listen to these discs (a really dumb assumption). The team that set up this format apparently believed the listener would want to look at the pictures and menues every time the disc is played (what the heck were they thinking).Anyhow, I've found on my 2900 that with virtually all of my DVD-As, waiting a few seconds after disc insertion and then just hitting 'play', 'enter', 'play' starts the music. Actually, I'm pretty sure that all equipment that plays DVD-As have this same issue.
