First review of Harman Kardon DVD 30 in German magazine "stereoplay"

Well, to be honest, I would have expected a masterpiece for a bargain price. It turns out to be one but DVD Audio may not be its primary strength. If I can trust this magazine's rating, the Harman Kardon will not even match the Panasonic DVD-RA71.

However, with only minor problems when reproducing the lower and upper end of the frequency range, €600 (MSRP) will buy you an excellent DVD Audio player that comes equipped with everything - a multitude of formats (DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, (S)VCD, MP3, JPEG, WMA), progressive scan, bass management - and extremely sharp pictures.
