No, I don't think so.There are other factors involved, like mixing stations and processing stations supporting 24/192K in addition to the previously stated unhappiness with previous generation 24/192K A/D convertors.
There have been cases where resampling / upsampling / whatever the term du jour is have been implemented, and I personally think it's a bad idea.
