Three of my most recent purchases are really outstanding sonically. The Mozart & Schumman disc is musically more interesting for the Schumman Fantasie Op. 17 than the Mozart variations K.573 but the 96/24 5.1 recording of the solo piano is simply the best I have ever heard on my system. The Debussy, Glinka and Others: Music For Solo Harp is again sonically outstanding, while to my taste the two short and familiar Debussy cuts hold the most musical interest. The Marcello, Handel & Vivaldi is stunning both musically and sonically, and more than a little off the beaten path, even for an early music fan. Dr. AIX continues to surprise.
