Your comments about the redundant functions are interesting. Do you think you could build an audio/HT setup around the 2900?source: Dennon 2900 - (DVD-V, DVD-A, SACD),
legacy cdp + external DAC - (Redbook CD)preamp: 5ch preamp, your choice, upgradable at any time
amp: 5ch amp, your choice, upgradable at any time
video switching: ?? (optionally use TV internal switching since many TVs have multiple inputs)
This setup would have certain limitations, but would it work?
