DVD-A player with DD input

I recently purchased a Sony TA-P9000es and I was hoping to dispense with a separate HT processor. I can use the DD decoder in the DVD-A for DVD's, but I also have a Scientific America 4200HighDef cable box which output DD 5.1 via a digital out. Therefore, is there a good quality DVD-A player with an acceptable DD decoder that accpets a separate DD 5.1 input? Does such a thing exist? (I have 5 identical speakers in an ITU configuration and no subwoofer, so most quality pre/pros offer lots of features that I am not particularly interested in)
