just received my order from AIX today. Only playing them in DTS, DD and 24/96 stereo but I am quite impressed with the DTS stage versions. They beat all to heck anything I have heard from DTS to date. 24/96 is pretty good as well but I would really like to hear it via DVD-A. Still looking for a good player. Picked up "Nitty Gritty Surround", Peppino D'Agostino and the AIX sampler. I have heard some negative comments about Peppino's disc but it is a live disc and he only has percussion to accompany him. The drums are very alive, rather than dead like they would be in a studio recording with a damped and isolated room. Might not be to everyone's taste that has grown up on the damped studio sound of drums, but this is how live drums sound. Will comment more after more listening. Definitely recommended!!
