I am heading down the same path as you and have done substantial research on NAS and ,this weekend, how to put my music, videos and images on my network. The most difficult part of that is the DVD-Audio portion of my collection. I have two full range 5.1 systems in my house with a connected PC, a pending 5.1 PC system and a car (Acura TL) that can all handle DVD-Audio. My goal is just as yours, to play my content when I want and where I want.

I am really interested to have more dialog with you to learn more about what you have learned.
