I've played it now, and its 48 khz. I don't know how to determine if the bit length is 16 or 24. If someone can tell me how to do this, I'd like to know. As its Sony BMG, its probably a safe assumption that its 48/16.Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only benefit of MLP(packed PCM vs. linear PCM) is space - there is no improved audio simply because the PCM is lossless compressed. Can't you still have 96/24 LPCM and play it through the digital out on a dvd player?
