Are you referring to the fact that SA-CDs can be mastered from any source? If so, that's true, just because the delivery format is DSD doesn't mean that it contains higher resolution, particularly if it has been mastered from a 44.1/16 source, and there's been a few notable examples.But then the same is true for any format, including DVD-A. Just because a DVD-A has 96/24 tracks isn't a guarantee of high resolution - it could have been upsampled from 44.1/16 :-)
