. . . the original firmware had hiccups with lotsa discs. they fixed that with the first software update and there have been no problems since.regarding dualdisc problems - i know that you don't like to admit that there are *any* compatability issues, but there are. (and like you, i think that they're overhyped a bit) but, my car (where i do a LOT of my music listening) does not like dualdiscs. it reads them about half of the time and i have to eject and re-insert a few times to get them to play. also, i have to manually pull them when ejecting because the motor can't eject them itself because of the extra thickness. it has no such problems with hybrid SACDs.
because of this, i've offed my NIN-DS DD in favor of the SACD.
