On October 4 , 2005 , Warner released Talking Heads DualDisc Brick which includes 8 Talking Heads albums on 8 DualDiscs with DVD-Audio , housed in a molded white plastic case covered with Talking Heads song titles in raised letters .All of these Talking Heads DualDiscs with DVD-A have Multichannel in 96/24 , and Stereo in 96/24 . Each DualDisc with DVD-A has some video , with the music videos in 5.1 Dolby Digital , and the live performance clips in 2.0 Dolby Digital . Each DualDisc with DVD-A also has some bonus audio tracks .
I am thoroughly enjoying listening to all of the Talking Heads albums in Multichannel DVD-A .
There are many excellent multichannel mixes on these DualDiscs with DVD-A . The rear channels are , generally , very active , and often feature discrete placement of instruments and effects .
My favorite Talking Heads album in Multichannel DVD-A is Remain In Light .
Individual songs that have the best multichannel mixes would include " The Overload " from Remain In Light , " Artists Only " from More Songs About Buildings And Food , and the extended version / alternate 5.1 mix of " Burning Down The House " from Speaking In Tongues .
It is great that Warner has made the effort to release 8 Talking Heads albums on DualDiscs with DVD-A .
Talking Heads DualDisc Brick is the Hi-Rez Highlight Of The Year .
