Sony Music is a participant in DualDisc. Sony Electronics is a whole different company. It's not just Sony Electronics who announced compatibility issues with DualDisc. Pioneer also has as will others shortly. The burden is not on the manufacturers of the players but on Warner and the DVD Forum. Keep in mind that there are no known compatibility issues with 'standard' DVD and Redbook CD in any of the players that are mentioned in the DualDisc compatibility announcements. The problem is the non-compliant Redbook implementation and thickness issues of DualDisc.
