I agree. Neither Warner or Sony were flooding the market with hi-rez software in their supported formats but it seems (at least at present) apparent that Warner has pretty much abandoned real hi-rez. Perhaps, it's just time to retire the DVD-A section of the board and lump with a general music area that can cover stuff like DualDiscs, CDs, HDCDs, XRCDs, etc. and move discussion of the real hi-rez (e.g. AIX, Classic Records) into the SACD area. This is not about format, it is about what is a cut above mid-fi or entry level hi-fi to people who are interested in the best software (regardless of format) to enjoy their hardware.
