are watermarkings/copyright protections saved in analog copies?i was making a test dvd-a disc and recorded a stereo major label artsist dvd-a program to at 96/24 .wav before burning it to a homemade dvd-a disc. i've a toshiba sd-5700 player, and about 30 seconds in got a copyright protection pause. it varies on different playbacks. i get these sometimes on professionally produced discs while playing (most notably, Queen's A Night At the Opera while playing the 96/24 program via my digital input).
that's pretty neat if there's some signal layed down in the audio - though i hope it's not adversely harming the music. any insight would be awesome! thanks!
cheers!
