Why Worry?
It is Sony who have the huge losses.
Also, I doubt that BMG are going to suddenly throw away all the DVDA tools & spend yet more millions on SACD.It is becoming clearer to all that SACD actually sounds better when played back through a Linear Phase 20KHz LPF, which sort of defeats the entire object of ludicrously high sample rates. If it sounds better limited to 20KHz, then either we have all been conned, or it is the increase to 24 bit PCM that makes the difference (it certainly adds the dynamic range) and the single bit DSD is reduced to the anomaly that it is.
Besides, bugs could well be wrong. He is wrong about Philips not being DVDA/MLP licensees.
