The Denon USA website says that the current upgrade is for the 5803 (SR) only, but that details on upgrading the 5800+ (SE+) would be forthcoming at an unspecified date- not that I care about PL IIx or HDCD in the receiver (my DVD player [9000] and my CD burner both support HDCD). Of course I didn't get the second edition D-link either because the 9000 DACs are so good. Where did you get the info on the non-upgrade of the 5800+? I'm always looking for new sources of info on my gear!Cheers,
