I think a single layer DVD-5 disc allows for most albums (74 mn*) in MLP 24/96 2CH, MLP 24/96 MCH, Dolby Digital / DTS, and about 15 mn of quality video content, maybe more. The AAC iPod version should be no problem.If you decide to use LPCM, there's a space problem.
Given the current competition over those new discs, you can expect the DualDisc (or DVDplus) to have dual layer within the next year, maybe two.
Get your DVD-A universal player, and you will be able to transfer all your tens of radio programs archive MDs on just a few discs :)
