Now we know the news from the horse's mouth, those are coming to DVD-Audio, hopefully soon :)Re: Music downloads. Here in France, the music artists are proposing a $5 monthly fee on top of ISP subscription to pay for the losses incurred to songwriters and artists by peer-to-peer file sharing and music downloads. I think it's a fair model, and most people would agree to pay that, as it would be included in your ISP subscripton.
One of the issues is how to allocate the money, and avoid the big commercial stars getting 90% of all revenues. Anyway, I'm sure there will be a solution to that problem pretty soon.
