Two new low cost DVD-A players (one a universal)....

New DVD-Audio music releases and talk about the latest players.

..are listed in the J&R ad in the June issue of Sound & Vision. They are:
* Samsung DVD-HD941 Universal @ $299.99
* Panasonic DMR-EFF DVD-A plus DVD-Recorder @ 349.95
The Samsung is not yet on their web site. The Panasonic web site handling DVD's and recorders is down right now. So I have not further info.
My guess is that the HD941 is an upgrade to Samsung's HD931 DVD-V machine (although the "slot" is in a different location).
The Panasonic ad does not mention "remastering", but the "55" designation probably means it contains the DVD-V and DVD-A basic capabilities of the S55, which are outstanding.
Anybody know anything about these two machines?
