..although it's multichannel it's not hard to downmix stereo. The thing is cheap ... the non-sale price is $129...changer version S85 is $149.Sound is very, very transparent but with a mid-range suckout and treble emphasis that can sometimes make it sound very bright and tizzy. However, the remastering (upsampling) feature mitigates this somewhat.
