Denon 2900 modification

160.83.73.15

hey guys- Is anyone familiar with any specific Denon 2900 modifications? I've heard you can drastically improve soundstaging and openness by utilizing the "3 channel" (Fr. L/C/R) mod -- Is this something that can reasonably be done at home (by an accomplished chip-board solderer...)

Any information regarding modification would be appreciated. I've been reading about this online, but information is very limited and I'd like to begin to learn more about it.

Currently I'm using a Halo/P'sound setup C2 + A 51 powering a Paradigm setup and Deno 2900. The Paradigm fronts are about to be replaced by a pair of Alon Lotus Signature Elites, however the A51 (despite being literally the best SS amp under 10 grand IMHO) is still not quite tube sounding- I've heard such a modification on the 2900 can bring you ALOT closer to tube-sounding without breaking the bank.

I'm eager to hear your opinions- please post away and let the fur fly...
