there's some guy that regularly lists their big SS monobloc amps over on Audiogon. $40k a pair. You should see Denon's separate transport and DAC from the same series. All sand cast chassises, huge multiple power supplys, really SOTA. So making a top notch SACD player isn't anything to get all hot and bothered about. As a company who has recorded music on their own label, Denon is aware of all the Japanese SACDs out there, so it's not really surprising.
