Specs or Vocabulary

Hi,
I can afford a subscription to Absolute Sound but not most of the stuff promoted. If mega-priced equipment is to be reviewed wouldn't you want to see some specs?
The new Crowning Glory Masterpiece, D'Agostino Momentum preamp, phonostage and monoblocks had no measured specs or amplifier class listed by the reviewer although a combined price of the set up mentioned will cost you almost 200,000 dollars!
Even though I really don't have any interest or the funds to take the plunge I find these reviews to be educational. I had to get my dictionary out to understand some of the vocabulary.
How many of you out there, lets see a raise of hands, know the meaning of the words refulgent or pulchritude?
No offense taken here but in my humble opinion Hi-fi needs less David Ogden Stiers stereotypes and a little more data for such a massive investment....Mark Korda
