the hobby got hijacked long ago by those who place more emphasis on 'money spent' than 'music'. if music reviews where important to editors or readership of stereophile they would command more space. where is the major label adverising in tas and stereophile? what happens in the music business and what happens in the twilight of hi end audio are two entirely different things. the only real emotion in audio is indeed 'human'. the equipment is 'stuff' as george carlin would say.
