The five color band 1K is a 1%. The four color resistor is a 5%. Don't sweat the tolerance. Your line voltage will cause more changes than the resistor. The two 1K resistor drops are 7% of the Foreplay power supply voltage. So we are talking about 5% of 7% or 0.35%.Note: Many 5% resistors (usually metal oxide) are more rugged than the typical 1% (usually metal film).
