According to Panasonic Canada, the XR70 is due in July in the USA and August in Canada.The XR45 is sold out in the USA although there might be a few lingering on retail shelves. There is still stock in Canada. The problem here is the dealer cost is about $90 higher than the $300 you could buy it for in the States. Add customs and shipping and you are into $450US.
Still even at $450, it is still a great amp at a great price.
