I have a setup similar to what you describe. I have the Jolida and a custom pre using a TVC (Bent TX-102s). My amp has an input sens. of .75v and input impedance is 100K. The sound is excellent. I can't speak for your configuration with less gain and lower input impedance. If it can work for you, this is an excellent sounding cdp when you ditch the stock tubes.Oz
