in so many ways. The front of our house is illuminated by two floods and there is a three lamp fixture at the street. Using old tech halogens, that added up to some wattage: 100+100+40+40+40 or 320 watts. The LED floods are now 17W each with a single 5.5W lamp providing equivalent lumens. Burning 40W for many hours in the evening is nothing compared to what AC requires in 95 degree weather.
Similarly, I use LEDs exclusively on the motorcycle. Brightness and wattage from stock is down even adding Motolights on the forks. Which improves visibility and safety.
