I disagree that Brystons are not low-z capable. Although I've never run one into a 2 ohm load, I've often run them configured for mono into loads that dip slightly below 4 ohms, which is equivalent to a 2 ohm load when not strapped into mono. This on live sound applications and day-long concert stages, where shutdowns cannot be tolerated. Never an issue.
