To me and to my wife and to the people we have over for Christmas Eve dinner every year, it also sounds better than a Pass XP-10/XA30.5 combination. Each year we listen to a live recording of "Cry of a tiny babe" at approximately the same time, sitting in approximately the same locations. (Bruce Cockburn, Roseanne Cash, Lou Reed, Columbia Records Music Hour or something like that.)I sold the Pass stuff in November and replaced it with a Yamaha A-S2000. Everything else was more or less the same (Tannoy Turnberry, etc.). When the song ended, my wife said that it sounded way better than in the past. We all agreed, and played a bunch of the non-xmas tunes on the CD, captivated, enchanted and generally blown away. So there.
