Thanks all for your repsonses.The problem I face regarding possible alternate placement of the MMG's is that they are now in an aesthetically pleasing position that goes with where the rest of the furniture is in the living room. My wife and I have tried to attain optimal visual placement of furniture and furnishings, by placing the speakers in a good spot visually, but a compromised one sonically. We have tried to achieve 'feng shui' and total balance of furniture pieces, other odds and ends, and the stereo setup including Maggies. They sound very nice where they are, but I was just wondering if a higher current amp may even bring out more of their benefits without having to move them. Unfortunately, audio is about compromises to many like myself.
