Here's the in-room response (initally set by ear!) of my 3.6s paired with Kinergetics subwoofers as measured by a Dspeaker Antimode 2.0 Dual Core processor prior to any digital correction. I'm using a Pass Labs XVR-1 3 way which allows gain, slope, Fq, and 3 selectable filter Qs.
The subs are crossed over at 48Hz with 18dB octave filters.
The tweeter mid-range has amp polarity reversed with a high pass filter setting of 6dB @ 180Hz and a High Q setting and a low pass of 24dB @ 250Hz Medium Q setting.
I think the uncorrected response looks pretty flat - what do you think? I can fix the dip between 35 - 50 Hz with the XO by raising the Low pass filter Q. The dips at 150 Hz and 350 Hz look like room modes to me - what do you think? Any suggestions before I add digital correction?
This Dspeaker Dual Core is very nice. Wish the display was bigger than a postage stamp. I'm really not sure yet about the sound quality of the digital filters as I just got this.
Thanks for your advice, Barry
