RE: Can Maggie 1.7s get a cap and inductor upgrade?

Certainly higher quality caps and coils can be used. Like you, I don't recall anyone doing so but that may be due to 1) indifference to reporting by the tweaker 2) reluctance to void the warranty as the speaker has only been available for about 18 months. BTW, I haven't seen a reliable schematic for the 1.7 or 3.7.
