RE: Rebuilt Tympani IVa, how do they compare to other Maggies?

Absolutely I am a Maggie fan, I just haven't owned anything more than 1.6 in my own house.

I prefer not to use dynamic woofers. Classical music probably only comprises ~ 10% or less of my listening, so I don't mind if something isn't truly full range. Great mid-bass is a real bonus.
