When it comes to flat style speakers, many of the design compromises in cheaper products can be overcome simply by spending more money.More money buys bigger panels, which does justice to a wider variety of music. This is seen in the flagship models of several product lines. The cheaper models with smaller panels and reduced bass output, the flagships with big panels and decent bass.
When spending up to $60,000, I can easily understand how other products would be favored over Magnepan. The most obvious reason being, Magnepan does not have a product offering in that price bracket. Lol.
